I’m a sucker for #nasilemak so when #greendot have their #vegannasilemak period i just had to have it Rice was so so,not too creamy coconut’y They’re generous with their condiments- #sambalgoreng tht comes with #petai , fried #veganchicken , fried #otak and the usual #cucumber #vegananchovy #groundnuts The #sambal ,however, at least for me personally is only 4/10 Need to work on it really

I would give this 4/10. The rice was not flavourful enough and they didn’t give enough of the sambal (chilli). As this was ordered to-go, I did not think to ask for more of the sambal. The traditional flavour of the rice, comes from Pandan leaves and coconut milk, lemongrass (& some add a bit of ginger) Nasi means rice & Lemak means fat (from the coconut milk). The rest of the ingredients were fine. Which was a combination of vegan fried chicken, vegan fish and a fried tempeh with petai beans.

These were ok, overall. Just that they weren’t heated through properly. Everything was cooked, then frozen. It needed maybe 30 seconds more. I didn’t make a fuss as they were soooo busy. Taste wise, it was quite good. Part of their ‘specials’ menu. #veganrolls #seaweedlover

This dish can be veganised. So be sure to tell them you want it vegan when you order. It’s one of the dishes I ordered fairly regularly. It’s served with a clear broth. I love their sambal, so asked for more!

This is not on their regular menu. It’s one of the specials. Not overly spicy, it was a nice accompaniment to my main. Served with black fungus and coriander 🌿. This is the second time I ordered this. So I do like it. 😁

This wrap consists of konnyaku fish fingers, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cabbage and tartar sauce all wrapped up in a wholemeal wrap. Fries were really delicious! Wrap tasted good too but it was kind of small. Price: $9.90

didn't realise the bento is more expensive ($9.90) than the sesame rice set 😭 I think it's all the same ingredients but just with more veggies. super filling and beancurd skin was nice and crispy 💯 really enjoyed the achar as well!

The rice is filled with the subtle fragrance of sesame oil, yet not overpowering. The achar is really full of flavors while still refreshing. The crispy beancurd skin is very crispy, yet soft underneath. Despite it's simple look, it's a dish that's full of flavors with elements all balanced in perfect harmony, complementing one another. Plus it's all made with natural ingredients!

Reviewing only the 3 ‘greens’ dishes (broccoli, pumpkin & brinjals that normally comes w lady’s fingers) here! Please ignore the Lion mane rendang bc I suspect that ISN’T vegan, but that was just an easy add-on as an extra side (+$2 for all extra sides) within my bento for my dining partner to try~ See 3rd pic for the bento prices - $7.90 if you choose 3 veg dishes as I did here. Bc wanted to try Tumeric Rice, but still love my plain brown rice, I topped up $0.50 for turmeric, and the cashier lady very kindly allowed me to have half-half of each type!! Tumeric rice didn’t seem anything special so I’ll stick to my usual brown rice next time. Each set comes with a small soup bowl containing seaweed and small cubes of soft tofu and carrots. All dishes and soup were not too salty or greasy which is great!!! 👍🏻👍🏻 love the flavours and it’s so nice to have simple clean accessible direct Chinese vege dishes options !! They look and sound standard but are so yummy Gotta say the service staff at this Bedok outlet are incredibly patient, helpful & sweet!!! 💕😬 not just rice customisation, they also excluded the lady’s fingers from the brinjal dish for me, helped me w my membership bday promo discount, & waited patiently as I choose way too slowly 🥺🤦🏻‍♀️ Bento is great if you are like me and just love to customize your dishes & have a mix to choose from Btw the bento plate was super cute where are finishing the rice section, there was a message thanking you for helping Greendot save the earth by using their plasticware or something like that 🥰
