This a local restaurant that has been here for decades. The decor features heavy wooden furniture that must’ve been shipped from Thailand, with glass topped tables covering a variety of international coins and notes. The menu is standard curries rice and noodles always with a vegan option. I tend to go for the #jadecurry as I like the coconut milk based sauce. This was a plentiful bowl of #babysweetcorn #carrots #beansprouts #greenbeans #broccoli #tofu and coconut rice, which we shared and was highly rated. Jade curry is marked as medium hot and I like that spicy kick. £7.50 for the curry is very reasonable in London #veganinlondon #goveganfortheanimals #tofulover #thaifood

This is a local restaurant with friendly, obliging staff. One of our waiters was really helpful in selecting a vegan dish. The Jade curry I had chosen was not available as a vegan dish but he was quick to make other appealing suggestions. The #stirfry was freshly made and served with rice. There was plenty of #tofu and a good hit of ginger throughout the meal, along with a variety of vegetables including #babysweetcorn #bellpeppers #onion #tomato #broccoli #mushroom #carrot The soy sauce dressing was fine and classical. At home when I make stir fry, I combine peanut butter with tamarind sauce and sesame oil which I fancy is a bit more flavourful.
