Got a nice surprise of this deli slices for free from everyday vegan grocer as my order is above 60 SGD. Decided to treat myself over the weekend with this vegan ham, and not forgetting a slice of vegan cheese in between 2 slices of toasted bread, and there you go, a nice vegan sandwich! The texture and taste is like turkey ham/bacon, salty and fragrant. Each slice is very thin, so it's not too salty to eat, and you can't tell its a vegan:) I included a referral code here for a 5$ off your first purchase at everyday vegan grocer. When you place order there with the code, you and me get $5 off:) http://i.refs.cc/wyKcBkBY
I really wish more vegan food companies understand that vegan food is not pretend food, like this piece of cardboard with a mushroom flavor. If we want more people to embrace veganism, and plant-based diets, than the products have to be at least tasting as good, and preferably better than the non vegan one. So this one here for me is a big no. NO.
This had a really strong and unexpected taste of very herby mushrooms which I enjoyed but I imagine may be a bit off putting to some. The texture is great though, like any other cold cut and works well in a sandwich hot or cold
field roast is great. don’t think i’ve had a bad item from them. i love my sandwiches and this is a great ingredient to add. it’s a little on the salty side so it’d suit a sandwich more rather than an open toast thing with just 1 bread. trying to think of other ways to use this apart from just with bread. lemme know if y’all have any suggestions.
