Vegan Toona Sea Salt

El precio es demasiado elevado, sólo lo compré una vez porque tenía mucha curiosidad. Pero no lo volvería a comprar. De sabor estaba bien, pero realmente no era extraordinario. Lo compré para hacer un “atún” con aguacate y no sabía mucho. Así que ahora solo me hago el aguacate tipo guacamole y no hay mucha diferencia.

Está muy rico y la verdad sí me recuerda mucho al atún. La lata se ve pequeña pero la porción es de buen tamaño. Lo malo es que tiene bastante sodio: 1020mg por la lata completa, pero de vez en cuando no pasa nada. Otra cosa es que huele raro, como a comida húmeda para mascota… de hecho en cuanto abrí la lata mi gata y mis perros llegaron corriendo 😂 Me costó $170 en Mr. Tofu. It’s really good and it does really remind me of tuna. The can looks small but the portion’s a good size. The bad thing is that it has a lot of sodium: 1020mg for the whole can, but it’s ok once in a while. Very good product, but a little too oily and dense.

Really wanted to love this, but it missed a little bit for me. It does have good texture, and I hate to say this but the smell was reminiscent of a cat food product. Higher in fat than we usually like.  In all fairness though, we tried it out of the can. I think it would be much better in a baked dish or a salad.
