We received this block of Knot #vegancheese frozen. In all fairness, they did warn us that if it has been frozen, it will change the texture. I agree with many other vegans, I am one of those who don't miss cheese. The only reason I buy #vegancheese and make it, is for my husband. When I tasted it, after defrosting, it was not a winner, but I must say it melted very well and the taste was also not too bad. So far, one of the better #vegancheddar cheese. You can find them on-line and they do deliver to bigger cities. I’ve updated my original review as I tried this again and it was really good! As I understand there was a period where they were adjusting their recipe. They have now refined it and I must say it’s great! Melts really well and the texture is amazing! Might be my new favourite vegan cheese! Will definitely be buying again! Highly recommend! Super keen to try the Mozzarella next! @knotfoods
So this tastes a little funny out of the packet BUT makes a divine toasted cheese and tomato! Melts like a dream and tastes great melted. I'll buy more for sure.
This cheese is excellent melted - melts quickly and maintains a great texture- I made a pizza and toasted sandwich and it was so good- so tasty when melted. Picture of how it melted on a pizza #ashers
