I thought this product was pretty decent. A lot of reviews say they had to add spices and flavorings which I can understand why, but I still didn't add any seasoning and felt it was fine. It does have kind of a gloopy texture which isn't so bad when mixed with pasta. Definitely worth having in the cupboard for those busy nights but I think learning to make my own will be worthwhile, too. It's interesting to see this fortified with b12- great for new vegans who may not realize that is an important vitamin. #whatveganseat #simpletruth #ditchdairy
This stuff is great! We accidentally happened upon it and had homemade scalloped potatoes for the first time in over a decade 🥲 Used the remainder in our green bean casserole. It doesn’t have the stinky foot smell that a lot of vegan cheeses have, either.?
Nice base to use if you’re craving Alfredo pasta but it is a little bland. I added some spices and herbs to give it more flavor and a little oat milk to make it more saucy since there wasn’t enough to cover a whole package of pasta. Overall if you’re in a hurry this would be a good go to but I suggest buying 2(:
