An amazing dairy free cheese!! It’s hard to melt by itself but the trick is to add a sprinkle of water and add a lid, the steam melts it in 5 seconds. I made burritos and chopped cheese with this cheese. What I love about this is that after opening, u can finish it at your own pace without worrying about it molding (just use it before the expire date). But since I’m the only vegan in my family, one pack lasts me a good month when I want to use cheese here and there.

This time, they had a different brand of plant-based cheese for me - Vitalite - one that I had not previously tried. So I was quite excited. It was absolutely delicious and really mimicked the taste of‘regular’ mozzarella. Unlike Daiya shredded cheese, this cheese was not wet. Instead the shreds were puffy/fluffy and had a cheesy texture. It must’ve been really good because even my dad had it on his pasta. He normally balks at the idea of eating vegan food. Come to think of it, he even ate vegan meatballs too with his pasta. This is 2 firsts! I definitely will have to look for this brand.
My son and daughter bought this brand when we were in Asheville for the weekend. Very tasty and melty on our pizza. 🍕 I’d buy it again.
Nothing special but decent shredded mozzarella. Average value
