Instant Yeast

I always use this in bake breads or Naan. Not much to say about yeast other than the flavour it adds and the function in breads, pizza's and Naan

I wish you could just buy a massive tub of this. I go through so much. I think this is the cheapest yeast on the market.

Anchor instant Yeast is great for baking breads, yeast cakes and sweet treats. I've use this instant yeast to make a South Africa traditional sweet treat, known by South Africans as "the koeksister!" There are twp type of koeksisters in our country. The very sweet one that steams from the European culture. This is is called the Afrikaner koeksister version,which is much sweeter and crisp than the Cape Malay koeksister. This one is covered in a sweet sugar syrup, and served without coconut. The Cape Malay koeksister,which I choose to prepare yesterday. It has a texture that is closer to a soft cake, and which is spicier and covered with coconut. Interesting fact: Koeksisters are close to Dutch pastries called koekbroers and koekzusters (respectively “brother cakes” and “sister cakes”), which also look like dolls. #veganisnotscary #abillionlove #proudlysouthafrican
