Horchata Frozen Dessert Sandwich

This was very tasty! Two #snickerdoodle #cookies with creamy #horchata #icecream in the middle. There was a bit too much ice cream in my opinion, as the cookies were my favorite part! They were so soft and chewy. This had a very strong #cinnamon flavor which I love. Ok so yesterday I went a bit overboard and had a record-breakingly expensive trip to the grocery store. I went to Whole Foods and had a huge list, so I knew it'd be expensive, but I allowed myself more treats than usual too. It's just so hot out and I've been making more at my new job so I think I can splurge a little! I've only had these once and it was years ago when I was on a Whole Foods run with my mom. They're usually $4.99 (I know, ridiculous for one ice cream sandwich!), so I would never get them. Yesterday, they were on sale for $3.59.... which is still wild, but I decided to just go for it. I love horchata so this ice cream sandwich really hits the spot. The rice milk horchata ice cream is so creamy and delicious. WOW. I have to go back for more of these! On my last Grocery Outlet trip I found these and the choc chip ice cream sammys and this version is just as delicious. The snickerdoodle cookies are soft and flavorful and the ice cream is creamy and decadent. The only oddity was that I could taste a slight almond/amaretto flavor. I like almond/amaretto so no issue just a bit strange for an horchata flavored ice cream or snickerdoodle cookie. I really recommend both these and the choc chip version.
