Just when I thought tofu couldn't get any better, I find one that's black (at least in name)▪️ #veganisnotscary My first impression was that it tasted slightly like tamarind, although it certainly doesn't have any. Quite a unique flavour on its own. I need to try it in something where it's not overshadowed. Maybe pan-fried. They suggest sandwiches, salads and wraps without further cooking. I'll update this review. (150/- off their website). Be warned, it's crumbly. They have several flavours, and I think I'll get through them before buying this again. #teamsoy is cool.
A very nutritious and delicious tofu product made with the best quality organic soy beans collected from the Himalayan regions. Even though it is very different from plain tofu, it is innovative and does not compensate on taste or nutrition. If you like tofu, you will love this product. Definite recommendation for tofu lovers. 5/5 rating for sure. Just make sure you follow the instructions on the product label to get the best out of the product.
