Don’t be like Miley, eat your omega (straight from the source - algae and don’t

blame veganism for your “brain not function properly“)

This is almost $40, which is more expensive than the average non-vegan omega-3. But it’s worth it for the lives saved and it‘s free from mercury.

For this, there is no weird aftertaste, which is a plus. I can’t really tell the difference this makes, but I eat this daily if I don’t eat flaxseeds.

Omega-3 is the number 2 product in my vegan survival kit. 😄 There are

3 main types of omega-3 fatty acids - ALA, DHA & EPA. Plant sources such as nuts and seeds are rich in ALA. ALA can be converted to EPA and then to DHA but it depends how efficient is our body. I choose this direct DHA & EPA formula which is slightly expensive but it is at a reasonable price of about S$30 at iherb.

Omega 3 supplement from microalgae. Quite expensive compared to other supplements $38.52 on #iherb. Worth

it though, as Omega 3 types DHA and EPA is what our body utilizes. Vegan sources usually are ALA which are inefficient in converting. And this is a 100% vegan source that gives DHA and EPA directly! Capsule is a bit tough. Thanks @choyyuen for educating me about Omega 3!

I used to think that anything with Omega-3 - flax, chia, walnut, sacha inchi -

gave vegans all the Omega-3 we need. Not true. Go to NutritionFacts.org n search for DHA. Seems that we mostly get ALA from those sources: not much DHA or APA. To get enough of those we may need algae.
