Corn grits polenta

I love Bob’s Red Mill products. I usually use this product to make polenta, but this time I went with the grits version, because I mistakenly bought mustard greens, thinking it was kale! I hadn’t made or eaten mustard greens in forever, so decided to do a true southern meal - sautéed mustard green with black-eyed peas and grits. Eaten raw, the mustard greens were very spicy but once they were cooked, they were pretty mild. This was a really good dish and I would make again.

There are so many yummy things to make with polenta. I like this one from @bobsredmill that I purchased from Thrive Market. I recently heard that corn is actually a vegetable, a whole grain, and a fruit so not sure what that means but I like it either way! #dentalandlentils

Great texture and easy to cook. It has more of of a gritty texture than the Quaker Oats grits.

Just like the label says, use this as a cereal, as a side dish, or as a polenta with your favorite sauce. Delicious!
