Vegan Belgian dark chocolate donut

I'm not a sweets person, but I AM a chocolate person. Anything from Union Square Donuts is a gift to the city of Boston, and the vegan chocolate is one of the best they offer

The chocolate made the donut super sweet, which is good if you have a sweet tooth. However, the donut itself was really oily and somewhat greasy from the frying, so you have to eat it quickly if you don't want it to soak into the bag and get all over everything. Overall, really amazing donut!!

The bitterness of the dark chocolate cuts the sweetness of the donut itself. They’re very generous with the frosting here! It’s more than a little oily to the touch from frying but it has a beautiful light structure inside.
