RAN ROASTED MUSHROOMS. CARAMELIZED ONIONS, HERBS & HORSERADISH SPREAD. So good. The menu board does not list the horseradish spread as vegan, but the website does …. And the staff confirmed it. I was a little concerned that the sandwich would be a bit one-note, with all the mushrooms. The first bite erased that concern. It hits you in the face with flavor. The bread is perfect. Toasted on the outside, to hold up to the hot mess it is containing. The inside of the bread is super fresh and soft; perfect for soaking up the flavorful juices. A great value at $13.

I am sooo impressed with Tony & Pete’s!! I knew I was going to like this place as soon as I walked in. It had a super cool, totally hip, vibe-y atmosphere with good music! If you're a sandwich lover, then I highly recommend checking out this old-school sandwich shop. It is located in the Fire Blocks District in downtown Dayton. I enjoyed The Mushroom, which consisted of pan roasted mushrooms, caramelized onions, and Vegan horseradish spread. Top notch sandwich, for sure!!
