It's so convenient to pop in to a classic donut shop and have a couple
options for my morning #sweettooth. I've been to Stan's two times now at two different locations. It seems like they only ever have two flavors: chocolate frosting and cinnamon sugar. I'm hoping it's just that the two times I went they had abnormally few options, but I feel that it's more likely they just always keep vegan options limited. I do appreciate that they use separate equipment for frying the donuts!
This chocolate donut is a nice classic option. The donut itself isn't anything great, but does have a great donut texture. It's not too dense like some vegan donuts get. This location is a nice short walk to Millennium Park, a great place to enjoy your treat.
