Spaghetti Carbonara

Amazing vegan carbonara, best ever had so far!! The pasta was A LOT, which made the dish a bit heavy, but the taste was great and the fake bacon amazing. Very much recommended!

Spaghetti coated in cashew-based sauce, topped with bits of #LibreFoods mushroom-based 'bacon' and parmesan #vegancheese. 🍝🥓🧀 Apparently their most popular dish, but I personally found it somewhat underwhelming... The sauce leaned towards being gritty rather than creamy, and didn't taste very outstanding - perhaps a dash of lemon juice would have improved things? There were very little accompanying ingredients too. Would have liked some protein source and/or veggies for more varied textures and balanced nutrition; they could have been seasoned with liquid smoke too to complement the flavour profile, e.g. tempeh or carrot or eggplant 'bacon'! Increíble este plato. Creo que desde que me hice vegana, nunca volví a comer fideos a la carbonara. Muy rico todo. El precio es un poco alto para un plato tradicional, pero por la ubicación y el lugar está bien El Precio son 160 coronas danesas

When I was in Denmark (Copenhagen), I first searched for some vegan restaurants and found this. And I'm glad I've decided to go there. The restaurant is called 'Bistro Verde' and it's a fully vegan restaurant. I got the chance to try some dishes - spaghetti carbonara, grilled panini and also the tiramisu. The spaghetti carbonara was just delicious. I gave it a try because I haven't had any spaghetti carbonara after going vegan. And I don't regret ordering it. In general, every dish was just worth it. It was tasty and it looked amazing as well The panini was with pesto and I got two slices. The atmosphere was also very relaxing. The staff was really interested and asked many questions. They also got some heaters because it was getting a bit chilly. Also, as far as I've overheard a conversation, dogs are allowed there. If that's somehow an useful information. Just talk with the staff If you ever get the chance to visit Copenhagen and you're looking for so some nice vegan food, you should definitely go there.
