Sot Me with crispy "Duck"

I overall enjoyed this dish. The mock duck pieces were crispy and tasty and the plate was nicely presented. Personally, I'd have preferred a stronger Tamarind taste and a slightly thicker sauce, but it was still a fine dish. The portion size was good, too, and I felt that I got value for money.

The first impression you get from this dish is that you have been somehow tricked and there is real duck there. Its look-alike is quite outstanding, and so is the texture and mouthfeel. In any case, leaving comparisons aside, the dish is flavourful, rich and very filling. I will definitely come back to Chay Vegan because I loved it, and especially because I wan to try their other dishes in the menu, which looked equally appealing.
