S’mores Donut

A fab fun switch-up. Not usually a chocolate doughnut gal - I much prefer fruity, but this was cute & seasonally appropriate! - and doesn’t contravene the fire ban. The dough itself is stunning - LOVE Cartems for their naturally vegan dough!

Ahhhh a dream donut flavour! Wandered into a cafe today and they had Cartems Donuts and the monthly special was #smores!! I couldn’t leave without it. The donut itself was soft and fluffy, with a ever so slightly greasy exterior (in a good way), the chocolate icing was decadent and rich, and the graham topping added a bit of saltiness which paired perfectly. They must make the marshmallows in house because it was sooooo soft and gooey, and perfectly toasted for that classic s’mores flavour! Love love love!
