Santa Barbara Venedict

Was pretty tasteless and cold. They don't have a vegan butter so English muffin was dry. The egg needed some black salt, it didn't resemble an egg at all. No hollandaise sauce but a chipotle mayo instead. Instead of vegan back bacon they used tomato slices. They were super short staffed that day so it may just have been a fluke that is was terrible but I don't think I will order this particular dish ever again. The salad and the service were great. Our waitress was a sweetheart and also a vegan and she comped most of the food.

Part of their vegan brunch offerings. Advertised as tofu scramble but I think this is some type of prepared vegan egg product, little on the bland side. I was expecting more of a tradition Benedict experience but this was just an English muffin with tomato, avocado, egg and chipotle mayo with a side salad. Felt I could have made it at home for much cheaper. It was just "okay". Would not order again. #blackgoat
