Rendang with Lion Mane Mushrooms

Ok, on the menu it did say spicy, but this was SPICYYYYY🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ #Indonesian #rendang with Lion's Mane #mushrooms - slow-cooked with lemongrass, coriander, turmeric, galangal + ground coconut, a spicy dry curry. Even paired with rice I could only eat half, it was delish but my mouth was on fiiiiiire (then we swapped dishes and they helped me finish this haha). How cool anyway to have a #veganpanasian restaurant!!

Out of this world delicious! It's creamy coconut with savoury depths of unami flavour and texture. Just order it, you won't regret it.

Omg was soooo good! The texture was just out of this world mind boggle moment. Like the mushroom texture was literally like a chewy 'beef' cow flesh kinda meaty texture stuffs and made me nostalgic haha. I asked for extra spice and omg was it extra spice all right lmao. Like literally one bite and I was like drinking water haha. I took the longest to finish basically. :)) Was a bit pricey and it seemed like a little ngl, but tbh was quite filling with the rice! Still a little on the expensive side tho. ;))) 💰 £9.50 + £4 for the brown rice. Seen my high school friend at the place haha.
