I went into the Garden City “village”, at my sister’s recommendation, to check out a bakery with incredible vegan options. Not unexpectedly, the place was busy; if it’s good, they will come! Its offerings (baked goods and sandwiches), both vegan and non-vegan, looked so fresh and enticing.
Most of the food offerings was not vegan. But the few that were vegan were equally visually appealing. The vegan baked goods were by the cash register. One that I chose was the Raspberry-Hazelnut Bar. It was $7.99 US which was a quite pricey (not surprising considering it’s Garden City). I was willing to pay it simply because it looked too delicious.
This Raspberry-Hazelnut Bar was incredibly delicious. It must have been made that morning! You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy the delicious and decadent food. I have a weakness for raspberries (it’s my favourite berry). I was surprised at how heavy (in weight) this bar was. It was packed with goodness!
I highly recommend this bar!!
