I loved this Japanese restaurant for so many reasons! #1. Everything on the menu is vegan. #2. The ambiance was pleasing with good music. #3. The dish portions were more than generous. And last but definitely not least, #4. The food was incredible! My husband and I shared the Pompoko “Big Bowl”, and the staff kindly separated it into two bowls for us, which still seemed very big—I could barely finish mine! The soup broth was so flavorful and savory that it was hard not to drink it right up before eating all of my noodles. The Cheung Fun is considered a small dish and also incredibly delicious. It is made using wide rice noodles folded over a medley of faux shrimp, bacon, pork sung and fried garlic, then dressed with a sweet soy sauce. If you love Japanese food, this place will not disappoint. And If you love Japanese food and are vegan or vegetarian, this place will be a little slice of heaven on earth! I can’t wait to return and eventually try all of the items on their menu.
