So, trying Baka Baka's pizza gave me mixed feelings. They have a really cute bakery, the sweets at their windows look delicious. They also bake an awesome sourdough bread which I often buy. The problem with them is that they have almost nothing for vegan people. They do not have a single vegan pastry to offer, and they don't have a vegan pizza on their menu. I needed to choose my ingredients on my own when ordering it, which is still okay I guess but disappointing. And because I wanted to have something a bit richer than just a red pizza, I asked to add the following toppings: mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, and lemon zest. Those are all ingredients that they have on the menu for other pizzas. My vegan pizza cost, with these modifications, 3700 kr. Basically like a Parma pizza with mozzarella, ham and other toppings. My toppings were also too few, I was hoping they would be more generous with them. I give a point in favour of the dough, which was very good, light and fluffy, but in general I felt a bit disappointed. It's 2024, it shouldn't be difficult to offer people vegan alternatives.
