Pineapple Piah

Balestier Road is famous for its traditional piah, or Chinese flaky pastries. The most famous, Loong Fatt, is not vegan-friendly as their piah contains lard. But the ones at 603 Tau Sar Piah are (with the exception of one cheese piah). This pineapple piah was like a huge pineapple tart, but extra flaky. Pretty good!
