Agedashi tofu is a dish I have to order if I see a vegan version!

Okome House serves theirs with grated daikon and ginger on top. The broth is so flavorful! It's salty and delicious. The tofu itself didn't really have the flavor I was looking for. It's hard to pinpoint since this is really such a simple dish. Maybe it was the breading that I wasn't a big fan of. When I was trying to pick up the tofu and split it up, the outside even seemed a bit gelatinous which I found odd. I'm used to agedashi tofu being crispy on the outside and so incredibly soft on the inside.
