Murtabak

Never heard of or tried murtabah before, but this is an absolute winner! Light flaky pastry with a filling of plant based meat in a uniquely spiced, creamy sauce. Menu says it has cheese but I’m not sure if I could taste any? Definitely wasn’t lacking flavour though. Delicious and filling. Nicely presented with a mountain of crispy kale leaves and sprouts on top, a colourful side salad, and cucumber relish. $23.90 Vega Cafe rules 💚 #brisbanevegans

If you have a ginormous hunger this is the dish for you. It was about the size of my enitre face. Nice filling of mock meat, mushrooms, spinach and onion. I wished I was hungrier so I could have eaten more than half. The cucumber condiment was delicious, and I love it when restaurants you choose the spiciness using Chilli garnish. I only like a little heat so only added a little bit and it was perfectly spicy for me. #veganisnotscary #brisbanevegans
