Mixed Tacos

Excuse the photo as the sun sets so early here in Cusco now! Glad I got to try Chia, an all vegan restaurant here that I had tried to go to last time I was here but was closed due to that virus which we don't want to talk about anymore 💀 So yay now I'm here again and I downloaded the Rappi app to get delivery to my hotel cos I didn't sleep properly for days and I wasn't ready to face my new reality just yet 😳 I really wanted to love these #tacos but they just weren't it for me. The flavours were ok, nothing special , but they were just so overstuffed with veggies , I think it was mostly zucchini in a sauce. They were so wet and juicy and picking them up to eat them was a challenge, they got super soggy. I appreciate the generous serve because they were very filling , but it just wasn't super satisfying.

I REALLY liked these. Tortillas were made from corn and chia - very different from any I’d had before, and the mushroom veggie seitan filling was sliced really well and went perfectly with the guacamole, pico de Gallo, and beans on the side. Get this dish!!
