mac n cheese

This was orecchiette pasta in a creamy sauce, with broccoli and thin slices of pumpkin, sprinkled with ‘bacon bits’, hemp seeds and micro greens. Now, I had my reservations about the Mac N Cheese dish and was prepared to be disappointed, as I heard from one review that it was kind of bland... well that certainly proved to be false. The sauce was absolutely delicious- it had strong cheesy and pumpkiny flavours, a comforting, thick creaminess, and well was seasoned. I was scraping it from my plate it was that delicious. If you want more bacon element than the scant sprinkling on top, then I recommend ordering this dish with the tempeh strips add-on. The tempeh is the bacon-bits in whole form, and my word does it taste like smokey bacon. Delicious.

looked amazing and i loved the addition of broccoli, microgreens and grilled pumpkin. just wish the cashew based sauce had more flavor...it was really bland.
