Ma La Xiang Guo 麻辣香锅

Nice dish to share when everyone is hungry and yearning for MSG umami!

This was not very good... It was quite tasteless compared to the usual MLXG. I order medium spicy and it was hardly spicy. It also didn't have the "ma" taste. They do have a good variety of ingredients you can order from. I would not recommend this at their store though. This cost $12.30.

I always tell the chef to cut down oil and salt level for my order. If not, the dish will be overly salty and greasy for me.

It is now more ma than I remembered, but I kinda like it this way. Wish it was less expensive though, considering there's no meat in this. Oh well, demand and supply. #veganisnotscary
