chocolate mousse cake

Lovely dessert to end off our meal! I like all the different mousse, cake, berry,

nut textures and how the freshness of the berries balances out the richness of the chocolate. Portion size is perfect too that I was left having satisfied my sweet tooth, but not heavy.

Uniquely crafted with the complexity of a star anise spice inside to uplift the taste

of the decadent chocolate mousse. Loved that it came with cherries as an accompanied and it also had crunchy syrup crystals. An indulgence, but pricey.

Small slice of sweet chocolate sponge and mousse cake with blueberry compote and candied hazelnuts

(which were shaved instead of whole this time round). Personally still found this too sweet for my liking, but my non-veg family liked the cake. Added on a scoop of Kind Kones vanilla ice-cream (+$5) that had a nice texture but tasted extremely strongly of coconut milk. Perhaps I would like this better if there were less sweet / more bitter components, such as cacao nibs, raw or salted roasted nuts, coffee ice-cream, etc. Nonetheless if you want to have a dessert at Love Handle (like for a birthday celebration), I would recommend this over the oat milk pudding. Chocolate sponge cake with thick rich layers of chocolate mousse, nicely plated with blueberry compote

and crunchy candied hazelnuts. Personally found this too sweet, and would also have preferred the sponge to be more moist. Very pricey considering they didn't use particularly healthy ingredients and the slice was rather small in size. Would recommend getting vegan desserts from other places instead.
