Hor fun

Very salty and nothing spectacular. Lacking wok hei too. This restaurant has very little vegan options by default.

This dish , Hor Fan is quite a popular dish among Asians. The noodle is a flat white type cooked to “Wah Hei” (smell of burnt pot fire) plus with the gravy that wrapped around the white burnt noodles, gives a refreshing crusine to this dish. Elevated it to a class of its own. I wouldn’t say it is top of top noodles as there are many noodles that are popular that are also quite good on its own. This dish comes with vegan fish cakes, mushrooms and carrot slices plus vegetables. Most vegan hor fan are not very tasty especially the gravy, it’s meant for us to get rid of that craving for food. Has a good wok-hey in this dish. There’s few slices of mock chicken and button mushroom. Overall an easy to enjoy dish. #veganisnotscary
