High Tea

Our second time enjoying the 12A high tea experience and I would definitely put it at the top of my list of recommendations for anyone visiting SA 🇿🇦 A selection of sweet and savoury canapés accompanied by any tea/coffee you desire. This was a birthday gift from my bf's friend. Honestly, I was disappointed. The restaurant is very luxurious and the presentation of the high tea was on point, but... All I can say is, they definitely did not collaborate with any actual vegans on this. Really average food compared to basically any vegan restaurant that's much cheaper. Some of the items (like the apple and yogurt, which tasted like mayo, and the one sandwich) just didn't taste good at all. The desserts were generally nice, but at nearly R400 a head it was really just not worth it. Great service and a nice view but that's about it.

Delicious!!! Every single bite!! Buffet style on all items during high tea. Both sweet and savory options. Milk alternatives also available for coffee. Absolute treat!

An amazing experience. The high tea includes sandwiches, a wrap, scones with coconut cream, biscuits, apple salad, nut and fruit clusters, chocolate covered strawberries, and the MOST amazing chocolate mousse. Lovely loose teas and coffee included.

It's unique for sure. The bread was a little stale. Was not the best but looked beautiful. Some of it was a little sloppily done.
