In this case, that something was the glorious #oystermushroom 🙌 I made sure to check with the kitchen if they use egg in the batter 😎 it’s in the clear 👍 This was a drool-worthy, #crunchy , savoury, sumptuous experience because we all know #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease 🤪 Thank you oyster #mushroom 🙏 for providing your wonderfully fanned out shape to accommodate this #crispy batter 🥹 They even #deepfry it to the point an avid #mushroomlover as myself acknowledges the focus can be the crisp skin 🤤 They only have a small and big size. This was the big that doubled in price as well as portion for RM30. Super filling from the fry tho 😋 For Kuching standards, it’s a tad expensive but the quality seems to have a little more oomph than most tasteless #vegetarianrestaurant (s) 🤨🤓
Plain and simple; It is what it says it is 😋 Oyster #mushroom fried in an #eggfree batter 🐣 The #mushrooms melt in your mouth and burst with flavour under the #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease crust! What a contrast to the awful curry I was served here, I enjoyed this so much! It’s just the right amount of grease too, not too soggy and not too pungent an aftertaste. I’m sure #bestpicks has another candidate here and this of this restaurant is happy to oblige 🍄 RM16 for this “small” portion by the way. #veganisnotscary
