I am very excited that the take-in-bake pizza chain, Papa Murphy’s, is now offering dairy-free cheese! When picking up my pizza, I inquired which vegan cheese they use, and it’s Violife! Which I was also very happy to hear. I’ve always been a fan of the take-in-bake platform,—it’s cheaper than buying a baked pizza, and I can rest assured it will be hot once I’m ready to consume.
This pizza consisted of their Original Crust (you can also ask for thin crust), and topped with Traditional Red Sauce, Dairy-Free Mozzarella, Sliced Mushrooms, Black Olives, Mixed Onions, Green Peppers, and Roma Tomatoes. It was delicious and I will be retuning for another soon.
I hope more pizza chains follow suit and get with the program, the dairy-free / vegan / plant based program. They can call it whatever they want, as long as it’s cruelty-free I’m happy.
