Re-review but not quite. The Soup on this occasion was leek and potato, topped with crispy onions. It was exactly what i needed on this cold day. Rich and creamy and so full of flavour and tastes like a comforting hug. A large portion as well, great for sharesies, or if you’re after a large serving of warmth and goodness. Fully vegan cafe run by the sweetest folk, one of the loveliest places this side of town. Their awesome menu includes all-day brekkies, sandwiches, soups, salads and a wide range of baked goods. 🥣 The #soup of the day here was #redlentils and it was so warming on a chilly day. It had a touch of heat to it with some 🌶️chilli perhaps and some toasted sourdough I think with oil or butter on it already. They provided more vegan🧈 butter on the side too. The very kind server also said we could ask for more toast if we wanted which is very generous. The microgreens on top as some more nutrients to pack the healthy stuff in. On this occasion, the soup of the day was tomato-based with mixed vegetables and pasta. It was really yummy, filled me up well, and i’m sure it’s not too bad for me either, with a healthy amount of veggies. I particulalry loved the chunks of courgettes in the soup, they were a treat. I liked bits of #celery as well. And little pieces of pasta (#gluten). Served with a couple slices of toasted sourdough whichwere also really tasty and an absolute winner.
