Crispy rolls filled with eggplant. Tons of savoury and sweet floss so it feels quite sinful. Great snack!

This dish was such a surprise! Even though the description of crispy eggplant with soy floss is exactly what they served, I was still delighted by the flavours and textures in my mouth 💕 love this!

Empress is great for vegan folks because of how many plant-based options there are. It’s a little pricey as a restaurant but you do get a lovely ambience and view along the river. The crispy eggplant with soy floss had a nice crunch to it without being too oily. Bite-sized but packs a punch where flavour’s concerned.

Nevermind the deep fried treatment. Taste alone makes it a winning appetiser 😋🍆
