This was purchased from the Dough Magic stall. Lots of vegan options to choose from. The beancurd strips were good! Lotus roots were crunchy. Good size portion. Would return! #nuseats
A bit oily but cold dishes are super good!! Also it's $1 per veggie so very worth it!
These are just some of the cold dishes I've tried in the stall, Dough Magic. Despite its name, the stall doesn't only sell pastry. It sells a variety of cold vegetables as well. In China, some vegetable dishes are served cold and this is called 凉菜 (liang cai). All oil used in this stall for all its pastries and vegetables are vegetable oil, so you can safely consume any of their vegetables that do not contain meat. Two of the cold vegetables I've tried here are beancurd skin and broccoli (xi lan hua 西兰花). Beancurd skin cut into strips like this are a common cold dish in China, also known as 豆腐丝 (tofu si). Each plate of vegetables costs $1. #nuseats #PGP #NUS
