Claypot “Unagi” Rice

This ‘Unagi’ rice bowl has a good serving of vegetables. Love the colours in this dish! The ‘unagi’ was rather tasty - great umami flavour wrapped in seaweed. Comes with a bowl of soup. #veganisnotscary

The unagi is tasty as usual — soft and sticky on the inside and umami and savoury on the outside with the seaweed wrapping :D Added 50 cents for brown rice!

Love the handmade 'unagi', really tasty and creative! Also comes with a variety of vegetables making the dish more wholesome. Would be great if there was some protein though

$6.90! + $0.50 for brown rice (used to be free but covid:”( ). a little disappointed they switched to disposables because of covid sighs. anyway this is my favourite from vegepot!! I always want to get something different but end up with this anyway HAHAHHA but today’s unagi was a little flat, was mostly seaweed with a little “fish meat” inside it. bf said it tasted like seaweed chicken HAHA but he enjoyed it!! also too little sauce to go with the generous servings of veggies and rice:”( and the green vegetable (forgot what it’s called) was a little bitter today as well. the eggplant was so soft and tender though!! and that little yellow pickled thing was a really nice addition to the dish. loved it still!!
