Claypot Sesame ‘Chicken’ Rice

Choice of either chicken or monkey head mushroom for an additional dollar. Sesame rice is tasty but portion of monkey head mushroom is rather small. Dish wasn’t cooked in the claypot as the rice wasn’t charred at all. A tasty dish overall but not worth $8.50 in our opinion. Came here wanting to eat our fav chicken rice but it was sold out!!

Claypot sesame lion mane mushroom rice. Broccoli is fresh and crunchy. Lion mane mushrooms are chewy! But, it is a little oily.

A bit sad that the rice wasn’t crispy; think it was wok-fried before being served in the claypot. Nevertheless the portion of both the fried rice & the soy chicken’ was really generous!
