Chwee kueh

A local breakfast fare which I’ve typically enjoyed. Unfortunately I can’t say the same after the the chwee kuehs are now twice the size of what they originally were. The chain recently upgraded the size of the chwee kuehs to reduce the washing of moulds. With the current size, it’s simply too much, too heavy, too filling, too oily. Sometimes, less is more.

Probably the smoothest chwee kueh this side of the island. The chaipo can get a little oily. Skip the chilli sauce as it contains shrimp. #chweekueh
