This place has only a couple of marked vegan items on their menu, and they din’t seem to be fully aware about vegan ingredients.
I initially saw another beverage that interested me (Ovaltine) and when I asked if it’s vegan the girl behind the counter said yes. She even made a show of looking at the ingredients and reconfirmed that it’s vegan. But I was a bit suspicious, so I asked to read the ingredients on the pack myself. Turned It wasn’t vegan. 🙄
When I pointed out the dairy in ingredients list to her she claimed she was looking at the nutritional facts and didn’t see dairy on it. *sigh*
So of course before I ordered the cold oat mylk chocolate mylk, I made very sure to read the ingredients on the chocolate drink mix pack with my own eyes.
It was yum and especially refreshing on that super hot day.
Yup, it was incredibly and very unexpectedly hot up in the Swiss mountains in late June! I had to walk around with an umbrella.
Even the locals said they’d never experienced this much heat before. I hope the weather helps them make the connection between their very rampant dairy industry and global warming.
