Caked Coffee is an independently run small 100% vegan coffee / bakery shop located in midtown Toronto. An Indian couple runs the place with the intent of doing good for the community.
One of their wonderful vegan creations is Cake Jars. They make several flavours, but only 2 were available today. So I bought one of each. The second I’m reviewing is Mango Mousse which I took home to enjoy the next day. It’s a delicious and fresh layered blend of cake and mango cream filling. It’s absolutely wonderful!!
It’s a simple concept with a beautiful presentation.
I don’t have mango-flavoured desserts as often as I would like. I’m going to have to change that. Of the two flavours of cake jars that I purchased, I think I prefer the Strawberry Cream just a bit more. But I would not hesitate to get either (or both) again.
There’s so much more I’d like to try there. I had not been there in a while, so I’m very glad I went yesterday. I gotta go back again soon.
This jar was $17.99 (a little steep), but the second was 50% off.
