Braised Pork Rice

Back to back to back with this place. Love it or don’t 😜 The most mellow one yet… By that I mean it’s not heavily fried. That’s also on me for choosing so 😅 It’s very interesting how the rice always appears dry but isn’t. Looking closer, it seems almost too lean but is actually decently fluffy 🍚 The #mockmeat could either be really firm tofu or really soft #fakemeat 🤓 Either way, this bouncy bite is best basted in this black sauce 😉 Though, it’s far from being an accurate copy of the meaty original. The sauce is on the sweet side as it should be. An unexpected surprise was a well incorporated smokiness. I’d say it surprisingly makes the dish so much more than itself, in the best way 😋 On top of the usual undressed salad, there’s a further addition of bok choi. It went nicely with the sauce 👍 RM 6 for this generous portion? I’d call it a pretty great deal 👌 I’m always recommending this place! 🤩 #supportlocalbusinesses
