Assam fish

Assam gravy tastes quite tomatoey and mild spiciness only kicked in later. Eggplant pieces were lightly pan fried, giving it a nice bite. Could have been better if the fish was lightly pan fried as well. We liked that the ladyfinger and eggplant were bite sized. Came here wanting to eat our fav chicken rice but it was sold out!!

The gravy was tangy from the tamarind and not spicy at all which was a plus!

Rice was packed separately so not pictured and it looks quite boring here but this was not bad! Sauce was adequately sour and spicy, but also a little too sweet for me. You can't tell here but the fish was really thick and worth it.
