Animal Style Fries

Every once in a while, I remember the upsetting fact that the nearest In-N-Out Burger is 1,005 miles away. Given the rate of their slow but steady eastward march, I don't foresee the opportunity to get a veggie burger (no spread) or an order of real In-N-Out fries here in the Midwest anytime soon. That is what made these Twisted Plants un-animal fries so exciting to me. The chance to get a veganized taste of home. The vegan cheese was great, and the caramelized onions were on point. The purists among you may note the use of waffle-cut fries as opposed to the classic shoestrings used in the original recipe, but I deducted no stars for that. Great job as always, Twisted Plants! 🍟

Twisted Plants has a temporary offering of its vegan take on In and Out's animal fries. Cheese, caramelized onion, and some type of dressing on waffle fries. Very delicious comfort food on this Friday night.
