#pimientosdepadron is one of the standard #vegan dishes that you can find year-round in almost any Spanish restaurant on the Canary Islands. They are small, meaty and delicious green peppers flash fried and sprinkled with #seasalt. We ordered them as an appetizer to split between two, priced at 6,50€ for a good sized portion. Though if I come back, I'll skip them and focus on the other dishes I've reviewed here.
This spot is highly recommended, set in a cave belonging to the #tamanca #winery whose wine making operation is right next door, and overhead on the land cultivating the grapes. The service is organized like a swiss watch while being friendly. Beware that this is a no-reservations locale, it is on a first come, first served basis with a number system. We called ahead of time and were told that traffic was light, we probably waited about 20 minutes for a table. But you can order wine and appetizers while waiting, so we didn't mind at all! 😜
