I loooove all types of dal, but vegan dal makhani is a rare find as it traditionally relies on butter and cream. This restaurant is wonderfully vegan friendly and this dish apparently uses vegan butter and vegan cream. It wasn’t quite as decadent and creamy as expected but regardless it was full flavoured and delicious. $19 and a generous serving, my partner and I weren’t overly hungry at dinner and took home some as leftovers.
