Okay, so I have been in Japan for about 10 days now. Before coming here, I was told that Japan isn't vegan friendly at all and guess what, they were wrong!

Perhaps, of all the countries I've visited, #Japan stands out as the most vegan-friendly, even surpassing India, which boasts a vegan population of over 35%. Surprising, isn't it? Now, onto this delightful treat: a rice flour donut with kinako (soybean powder)Made like taiyaki, it boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, lightly sweet interior that won't send you into a sugar high. I'm not typically a fan of donuts, but the intriguing flavors drew me in, and here I am.
