Northstar Café in Beechwold

I stopped going to Northstar for a long time because I've reviewed everything 🤣 but didn't realize you could review dishes at different locations. Northstar has 4 locations in Columbus (Clintonville, Short North, Westerville & Easton), and each has slightly different menus (Clintonville and Short North match up as Easton and Westerville do). Each has an entirely different atmosphere and vibe as well.
I was disappointed when they changed my favorite Buddha Bowl too, and it's now called "the Remix." I've had it once before almost 2 years ago at the Short North location, and this was better than I remember. It has a base of brown rice, broccoli, scallions, fried carrot, and purple cabbage, and it comes with a few pieces of #tofu, but it needs more! It's topped with beautiful watermelon radishes. The bowl comes with a side of peanut sauce, but I changed it out for a house dressing instead. It had really nice flavor. Since covid the prices really went up at Northstar, just FYI, this bowl was $17 which is extremely expensive for what it is. This is definitely a treat. I also love the patio here. It's well shaded and a great place to sit and eat.
