鸳鸯饭 Featuring a combination of roasted yuba beancurd skin 'chicken' as well as charred smoky seitan 'char siew' (albeit with a rather strong mock meat aftertaste that I wasn't a fan of). 🍗🥓 The sesame rice was fragrant and not too oily. Came with cucumber sticks, plus achar-like pickled cabbage and carrot. 🥒🥬🥕 Served with a tasty bowl of clear soup too. 🍲 Overall nice though not particularly outstanding in my opinion, since similar chicken and/or char siew rice dishes are aplenty in Singapore; regardless this was a wallet-friendly option in town~ P.S. Btw a new outlet of Kale by Kang Su Vegetarian just opened recently on 9th Mar 2024 at Midpoint Orchard! 🎉 That outlet has specials such as Housemade Youg Tau Foo, Chee Chong Fun, etc. Menus at all Kale and/or Kang Su outlets are fully vegan except for coffee w dairy. 🌱
